Rainy Market Day

It was a dark and stormy night. Well, not really, but it did rain all day at the Farmer’s Market this past Saturday. Luckily it was only misting during set up and break down, but it did put a damper on the fun.

Turns out my canopy is water resistant, not water proof, and that makes all the difference, lol. It wasn’t super leaky, but just enough to be a nuisance.

The biggest thing I missed is the people, though. I was surrounded by tent walls and not much foot traffic, instead of the breezy open air I’ve gotten used to. And the rain meant I didn’t have a very nice display; just the two little tables I could keep dry.

I found out I’m kind of addicted to the endorphins from talking to a lot of people all morning. But hopefully the next market day will be bright and sunny.

Latest Hurkamp Park Vendor Market!

I had a great time last Saturday at the Farmer’s Market!

My sister and I set up shop together and we were on the go all morning long! I thought we’d be sitting and chatting away half the morning, but we had so many lovely customers that we hardly stopped talking, just not so much to each other. Everyone was incredibly nice, and I even got some great new ideas to run away with.

We’ll be at Hurkamp park every other week through October, so come by and see us!
